Dr Beatrice Seddon is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at University College Hospital, London.

Dr Seddon is based on the Sarcoma Unit at UCH, which together with the Bone Tumour Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, comprises the London Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Service.

She trained in treating sarcomas at the Royal Marsden and Middlesex Hospitals in London, and now specialises exclusively in the treatment of soft tissue and bone sarcomas with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

She completed her PhD (University of London) at the Institute of Cancer Research in imaging of tumour hypoxia, and currently has a strong interest in clinical trials in sarcoma, acting as principal and chief investigator for a number of national and international trials. She is actively involved in coordinating sarcoma research at a national level as a member of the NCRN Sarcoma Clinical Studies Group, and is also a member of the EORTC Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Group. She regularly teaches and lectures on the management of sarcomas

Professor Andrew Tutt is a consultant clinical oncologist based at the Guy’s Hospital Breast Unit and is a Professor of Oncology at King’s College London School of Medicine.

Prof Tutt trained in clinical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital London and in breast cancer research at London’s Institute of Cancer Research, where he gained his PhD in Cancer Biology.

Professor Tutt focuses his clinical practice exclusively on breast oncology and its biological, chemotherapy and radiation therapies. He has a particular research interest in “triple negative” and BRCA1 and BRCA2 associated breast cancers where he has led a number of international clinical trials of drug therapies and is the director of a research program focusing on these areas.

Professor Tutt has published and presented a large number of breast cancer research papers and is an invited speaker and session chair at major European and North American Cancer Medicine conferences. He is a member of the St Gallen International Breast Cancer Consensus Panel that develops international breast cancer treatment guidelines and a member of a UK team testing new techniques in breast radiotherapy.

Professor Tutt offers a range of systemic therapy treatments recommended by international guidelines at LOC at London Bridge Hospital and LOC at 95 Harley Street and the radiotherapy at the Harley Street Clinic Cancer Centre and at the Clinical Oncology departments in the Integrated Cancer Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals near London Bridge and Waterloo Stations.

Dr Alison Jones is a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Jones graduated from Bristol University in 1980 and specialised in Medical Oncology, training at The Royal Marsden Hospital, after which she took up a consultant post at The Royal Free Hospital in 1993.

She now specialises in breast cancer and works between The Royal Free and University College Hospital, London in a multidisciplinary team with approximately 300 new cases of breast cancer per annum on each site. She is an active participant in clinical trials and has been on the steering committee for a number of trials within the United Kingdom.

She has an interest in all aspects of breast cancer from diagnosis through treatment, and in particular has an interest in young women with breast cancer, pregnancy-associated breast cancer and fertility-related issues. She has undertaken psychosocial research in relation to breast cancer and family relationships.

She also undertakes clinical trials in the private sector at The Sarah Cannon Institute which is associated with LOC in Harley Street.

She has specific interest in:

• Clinical trials
• Breast cancer in young women (fertility preservation, pregnancy etc.)
• Survivorship
• Introduction of new drugs
• Personalised medicine

She continues on the steering committee of the Association of Cancer Physicians UK having been immediate past chair and advises on the introduction of new drugs through the London Cancer Drugs Group. She is a trustee of Breast Cancer Care, the major UK charity advising and supporting women through breast cancer. She is invited to speak at both national and international meetings.

She continues to publish on breast cancer and has over a hundred and forty publications, mainly in peer review journals.

Dr Jones speaks English and French.

Mr Walid Abou Samra is a Consultant Breast Surgeon based at Glan Clwyd Hospital and Cancer Centre in North Wales.

Mr Abou Samra graduated from the University of Pecs, Hungary in 1995 with an MD in Medicine and completed Postgraduate Training in surgery at the same University, qualifying in General Surgery and Breast Surgery FRCS in 2001. 

He undertook a 12 month elective period in Plastic Surgery with prof Jean-Marie Servant in Hospital St Louis, Paris, France which further stimulated a longstanding interest in breast, oncoplastic and aesthetic surgery.

Mr Walid Abou Samra underwent advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery and in 2002, completed further training in both aesthetic and breast surgery in Pecs University, Hungary.

In 2006, he moved with his family to Wales where he continues to work as a consultant at Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board's Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan with interests in breast surgery, breast reconstruction and general surgery.

He has specialised interests in breast cancer, aesthetic breast surgery, including reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery as well as general surgery. Lead clinician for breast cancer in North Wales and an accredited Breast Test Wales Screening Surgeon. He was also responsible for managing a Foundation Programme in Glan Clwyd and the education and training needs of each junior doctor on the programme at the BCULHB central area.

Dr Tony Dhillon is a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Dhillon has been a consultant medical oncologist since 2010. He is a senior lecturer in Oncology at the University of Surrey and Imperial College London, looking into new treatment in GI cancers.

He treats colorectal, liver, pancreas, biliary, NET and GIST tumours.

Dr Dhillon trained in medical oncology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust hospitals (Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals) and Chelsea and Westminster and the Royal Free Hospital.

He has a PhD from Imperial College London in the field of cancer cell signaling funded by a CR-UK clinical training fellowship.

He has been a Wellcome Trust fellow at the University of Oxford and a lecturer in physiology at the University of Oxford.

Professor Tim Eisen is a Medical Oncologist and clinical trialist based at Addenbrooke's Hospital and Cambridge University.

Professor Eisen is interested in developing new treatments for advanced disease, identifying and managing those at risk of disease. His special clinical areas are kidney cancer, lung cancer and melanoma. In kidney cancer and melanoma he has been particularly involved in the development of tyrosine kinase inhibitors as therapeutic agents.

Professor Eisen is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians; American Society for Clinical Oncology; European Society for Medical Oncology, a Trustee of Macmillan, a Member & Trustee of Kidney Cancer UK and Medical Advisor to Kidney Cancer Association.

Dr Sunil Gupta is a Consultant Haematologist based at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (Conquest Hospital).

Dr Gupta has over 20 years of experience in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology.  He began his training in India at the Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi, and continued training in Singapore’s National University Hospital and the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney Australia, before joining Kings College Hospital, London in 2004.  He completed full formal training under London Deanery at Kings and attained completion certificate in specialist training. He has done research in paediatric haematology and his thesis was on anthracycline toxicity in children. He wanted to broaden his horizon in haeamtology and thus completed MRCP (internal medicine) and FRCPath (haematology) and now has solely an adult haematology-oncology practice.

Dr Gupta has been working as a Consultant Haematologist since May 2011. He joined Conquest and Eastbourne Hospitals as Consultant Haematologist in September 2012.  His area of speciality is Haematology-oncology but has keen interest in clotting disorders as well.  Dr Gupta offers diagnostic and treatment services of various primary blood disorders and chemotherapy related to Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma is available for private patients.

Dr Gupta is a member of the British Society of Haematology, European Haematology Association, Medical Protection Society and the American Society of Haematology.

Mr Stephen Prescott is a Consultant Urological Surgeon based at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mr Prescott has a general adult urological practice with a large commitment to urological oncology due mainly to tertiary referrals of patients with pelvic cancer who may wish to consider surgical care.

Following two years as a Senior Lecturer at Edinburgh University and Consultant Urological and Transplant Surgeon at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. He was appointed Consultant Urologist in Leeds in 1995. He is experienced in both robotically assisted (since 2008) and open radical prostatectomy (since 1996) and cystectomy.

He is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS), European Association of Urology (EAU), and the European Organisation for the Research and Treatment of Cancer GU Group (EORTC).

Dr Stephen Lloyd Morris is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at Guys & St Thomas’ Hospitals and Kings College Hospital in London.

After graduating from Guys and St Thomas’ medical school Dr Morris specialised in Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital and at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals.

His unique practice includes real time dynamic prostate brachytherapy. A new treatment offered to patients in the UK at Guys and St Thomas’ and privately at London Bridge Hospital. Dr Morris has extensive experience of radiotherapy for prostate cancer including the modern techniques of IMRT, IGRT and Tomotherapy.

As a world expert in cutaneous lymphoma he offers a modern Total Skin Electron Beam (TSEB) technique at Guys and St Thomas Hospitals and the St Johns Institute of Dermatology. The St Johns institute is a world leading centre of excellence for the management of cutaneous lymphoma and the national referral centre in the UK. Through his interests in technology he designed and released a free cutaneous lymphoma iPhone app that is now used world wide to assist healthcare professionals managing cutaneous lymphoma.

Dr Morris is a Member of the Royal College of Radiologists, the British Institute of Radiology, the British Medical Association and is an active member of the EORTC cutaneous lymphoma task force and principal investigator for new drug and radiotherapy trials for cutaneous lymphoma and prostate cancer.

Dr Simon Russell is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

Dr Russell trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals London where he was awarded a first class honours degree, distinction and several academic prizes. Following general medical training at Guy’s Hospital he undertook his formal oncology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge and University College Hospital London. He also spent a year with the Institute of Urology at the Middlesex Hospital. During his training he was awarded the Royal College of Radiology Medal for the FRCR examination.

Dr Russell works closely with his surgical colleagues, employing the latest techniques using radiotherapy (including brachytherapy), hormonal therapy, chemotherapy and biological therapy to treat urological cancers (prostate and bladder), breast cancer and skin cancers. With his colleagues at Addenbrooke’s Hospital he has brought state of the art radiotherapy such as Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) and prostate Brachytherapy into clinical practice.

Dr Russell is a Member of the Royal College of Radiologists, British Uro-Oncology Group (Secretary) and the Medical Protection Society.
